Welcome to Mount Dora Community Trust’s
Giving Week 2023

From November 28th – December 5th, 2023 (3PM cutoff!). The below organizations will be competing for their share of a $100,000 matching donation pot. The top FOUR charities in each of the three size categories will be awarded matches:

• First Place: Dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000
• Second Place: 75-cents per dollar up to $6,000
• Third Place: 50-cents per dollar up to $4,000
• Fourth Place: 25-cents per dollar up to $2,500

This totals $27,500 in matching funds in each category, for a total of $82,500.
The remaining $17,500 will be given in special Golden Grant contests as follows:

GOLDEN GRANT DAYS DURING THE CONTEST

Contest #1:
Day 1 – $10,000 until it is gone, as 25 cents on every dollar match, but 5 donations are skipped for every 5 matched. **SO, Donations 1-5 are matched, then that person goes to the back of the line, and skips 5-10 (not matched), then donations 10-15, 20-25, 30-35 are matched, and so on.

Contest #2:
The 23rd donation of $1,000 or more wins $2,500 toward the organization they donated to (counts toward determining winners).

Contest #3:
$2,500 for the organization with the most individual donations, who DOES NOT Place as a winner in the overall contest.

Contest #4:
For every $5,000 each org raises; they get their name put in a jar. So if Organization A raised $20k, they would get 4 entries. The winner will be drawn from a jar at the Celebration of Giving (after the event) and they get an additional $2,500. Must be present to win.

*Contests 1, 3 & 4 will be added to final payout, not included in total to win.
