Collective Achievement is a women’s philanthropy group – a group of women who care for others. The idea is to come together, and each person gives a small donation. We pool those together, and the sum of those donations will become a large gift to a local nonprofit.
Mount Dora Community Trust stewards the women’s group by providing investments for the endowment, marketing the program to encourage others, extensive research on the needs of our area – based on hard data, and ultimately utilizing their strong nonprofit partnerships to work with various organizations – ultimately using these grant funds to bolster needed programs to improve our community.
By coming together collectively and collaboratively, women definitively transform the communities in which they live. The Women of Collective Achievement focus on what is most critical. This is a place for women who care deeply, dream big, and know that together we will create great communities.
The membership cost is $1,000 toward the large grant and $100 to the operations and events – each year. This can be paid monthly at $100/month, or in full. It can also be donated by your company who can sponsor a female employee becoming a member. The Collective Achievement group will have one large gathering annually where all members come together to vote on the grant for that year, along with multiple fun gatherings the rest of the year that are completely optional.
We hope to see you soon!
