Forty Years of Community Support

In September 1972, the Mount Dora Community Trust was established with an initial contribution of $10,000 from an anonymous donor. This donor wanted to give back to the community in a lasting legacy. Forty years have passed since that initial contribution of $10,000 and the Mount Dora Community Trust has grown not only in value, but also in its ability to continually support the Mount Dora Community.

Together with generous donations from the citizens of Mount Dora and diligent investments by the First National Bank of Mount Dora, we are proud to announce that the trust has grown to over $15,000,000.  As a result, the Trust has been able to provide Mount Dora with over $5,000,000 in grants, sponsorships, and scholarships. The Mount Dora Community Trust wishes to thank you all for helping us obtain this milestone. Here’s to the next forty years!
